What is the most interesting thing you have learned in that class this semester?

Before I talk about interesting things that I learned in this semester, I would like to introduce my friend. ARon, Park. He is studying Theology in Chongshin University. He is senior.

I met him as a tutor- tutee. I heard of Tutoring system that is giving me a extra credits in English course that i choose. I thought it would be great chance to get extra credits. So i applied as a tutor.

The tutoring center introduced me ARon. He said he wanted to learn ' English Speaking'. It was very hard for me to teach someone who is older than me. However, we got close. It is not awkward anymore to teach someone older than me.

I love this Very much, because when I teach him, I also learn a lot. Actually, since my major is early childhood education. I never thought about teaching an adult. Therefore it was very scary for me to do it. I didn't want to do it. I complained to tutoring center all the time.

However, when I started it. I learned about dealing with adult learner. not just from book, But also facing with difficulties that I deal with.

Now I really am looking forward to having a tutoring again.

A person i admire.

Everyone has at least one person in like that stands as a person you admire
A person that you may known very well. The person that inspires me the most is my English teacher
who taught me during high school years.

She was the one who made me to study english.
No one would thought about 'me' studying English. I wasn't actually interested in language However, my english teacher had great personality. that made everyone in my class to study english. she encouraged me to study English. So my English score increased over 20points after studying with her.

Teacher should have right attitudes towasd the student. especially Teacher is teaching various students in one large group. most of teachers that i've met in korea high school never considered about students differenciation. all they did is giving a lecture. However, My English teacher, she never lost beautiful smiling face in class room. she was patient.

It was gracious to have her as a my english teacher. her name is 김인정(injung kim) it means Warm heart in korea. she had great personality just as her name. she knew how to pinpoint the student's characteristics and provided different opportunities for the students to develop their own talents. when i had hard time with my friends and family she is the one who encouraged me a lot. she gave me the strength to deal with all the problems with schools also. she is the one who recommended me to come to chongshin university.

I am very thankful to god that having me great teacher. I want to learn lots of teaching methods in chongshin. when i graduate chongshin i want to be teacher like her.

Who would think about a story filled with non of letters.

Rives is very famous in writing a poem with NO letters!

He thinks emoticons or writings that used in only on-line have same meaning as word.

He is using a emoticons as a one kind of metaphor!

This TV show is about having a fake marriage between teen stars. They get a mission that can happen in only real marriage. This is very interesting because we don’t have much chance to see the TV stars living just like ordinary people. Also, lots of people enjoy watching them.

 

 

 

All the watchers are curious about what would their marriage look like. It is fun to watch without any thoughts. It gives such a relaxation by just watching famous stars fake marriage life. This show is already a big hit in over the Asia. Some people find the show the incredibly boring. Since this show is all about imaginary.

 

 

However, this TV show provides great relaxing time. While laying on a couch and having some popcorn. You won’t regret watching it.

 

 

what i learned from Chongshin University

As some reader already knows, I am studying early childhood education. I believe my school does not teach the teaching technique but ability to communicate with students that we teach. It is very hard to get to be close with students as a teacher in Korean public school. Students are eager to enter ivy leagues in Korea SO THAT they never want to have a close relationship with teachers unless they need recommendation letters from teacher.

I am learning how we can be friend-like teacher. From the school years I’ve learn that we can be easy when we summit our limits and let us hold by god. Studying in Chongshin University gives lots of time to think about being a REAL teacher. We can see the real teachers’ job on Jesus’ life also.

 Especially in early child education course, we learn things that effects to child development. Every human being goes through specific steps to grown up. In every step they have certain needs that must be satisfied to fully develop. If one needs get lack it causes very effect on their personality. I want to give my great care with love. To make my students to be awesome when they grown up as a adult.
